CIPL provided two trainings on digital media and information to Bunong Indigenous Youth at Mondikri province in June 2025. The topics of training will include media contents creation and mobile reporting. The Strengthening to IPs youth group on capacity building on “Digital Media and Information” Indigenous community leadership capacity development over their community land, territory and resource uses, management, and protection in the sustainable development with the respect of the indigenous peoples’ rights.

The purpose of this capacity building training on “Digital Media and Information” for the Indigenous Peoples (IPs) youth group is to empower them with essential digital literacy skills, critical thinking abilities, and practical knowledge of digital media tools. This empowerment aims to enable the IPs youth to:

  • Preserve and promote their indigenous languages and cultural heritage
  • Enhance communication and advocacy for their communities
  • Bridge the digital divide and foster digital inclusion
  • Foster economic and education opportunities
  • Become active and responsible digital citizens
